Marco Menara is originally from Italy, but due to his father’s job he was raised in Moscow, Russia. Being fluent in four languages Marco grew up in a very international environment. He was always interested in science and developed a particular interest in Biology toward the last years of high school. He achieved his high school diploma in Grasse, France and later moved to Boston where he is pursuing a bachelor degree in Biology at Northeastern University.
After taking an infectious disease course, Marco became interested in the topic. With the desire of expanding his knowledge, he decided to join the Dr. Fusco laboratory as a volunteer. He is currently participating in the research about Zika and Dengue viruses.
