For the last ten years of his tenure at MGH, Dr. Kashiwagi has devoted a great deal of his time to successfully training two visiting postdoctoral scholars, two research assistants, ten undergraduate students. He has instructed these scholars and students in basic research techniques, oversaw their daily laboratory work and guided them in the analysis of their datasets. As a principal investigator, Dr. Kashiwagi is currently supervising two postdoctoral research fellows and one research assistant in his laboratory. Dr. Kashiwagi has trained many students in his laboratory. Along with VIC policy, one of the major focuses of our laboratory is to train future scientists.
