“Watching VIC’s success over the past five years has been rewarding on so many levels,” says Joan Hill, who, along with her husband Gene, has been involved as a VIC donor since the launch of the center.
“There are lots of opportunities for returns on investment relative to philanthropy, but it’s most important to trust and believe in the person who is trying to make things happen,” says Mrs. Hill.
“Dr. Poznansky’s work at VIC (Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center) in translational science strikes to the heart of innovative thinking. He engages a wide cadre from the scientific and commercial community to advance potential cures in an economically efficient, focused and personalized manner,” says Mrs. Hill. “Mark is passionate, intelligent and willing to think outside the box; his strong moral compass and true compassion for patients drives his leading efforts in research and patient care. We are honored to support his work and hope that others will be inspired to join us.”
